I'm gonna stay positive
We wanted change, we got change. Let's wait for at least a few months or even weeks before we form our opinions on whether the new CEO will be good or bad for us. Or is that too much to ask for?
Your manager will reach out in coming weeks, months
Embrace the change, sit tight, navigate it with optimism.
How tf am I supposed be do that when I do not know if I will have a job in coming weeks, months??

Keeping Investors Optimistic and Forward-Focused
We should aim to keep investors optimistic and focused on the forward outlook, rather than coming across as overly harsh like in memory shortage in the February call. Even a bit of positive sentiment can go a long way in building confidence and potentially supporting a stock rally everyone’s been anticipating.
Feeling pretty good about the short term
I watched both the earnings call and the CEO's all hands and the message from both was pretty positive. Nothing like the message he conveyed right before the big layoff back in November. I'm thinking things look good until at least November.
Stock up by 6%, close to 150 EUR
Therefore there is no need for layoffs.
We are safe.
No need to worry.
To the moon!! Fiserv the new Artemis
Yeah baby
This rocket ship is launching faster than NASA can keep up
Lots of criticisms here. Reality is nowhere is perfect. Just look at the share price over the past month. Market is finally seeing the benefits of some gutsy decisions and rewarding us for it after gaining their trust back
Are layoffs finally over?
I'm starting to see reqs open up again (at least in my org). Are the worst times truly behind us?
No large scale KTD layoffs this year
It looks like we won’t have large scale KTD layoffs this year. The teams are struggling to keep up and hiring is ongoing. Also, by this time last year conversations were on for layoffs in August but this year its oddly silent
Rio Grande Valley Leaders Upbeat Despite Maquiladora Layoffs
First Brands announced 600 job cuts at its Brownsville auto parts plant. These layoffs are part of a larger reduction of nearly 2,000 workers across its facilities. The company is experiencing an ongoing financial crisis. Despite these losses, Rio Grande Valley leaders express economic optimism. They highlight growth in AI, new technology, and port expansion.

Stock is way up today!
Think it might turn around? I know it won't be quick, but maybe?
I’m optimistic about our future
I feel like we are headed towards a successful future.
Optumistic Branding in HQ
Something has to be said about this, everywhere you look it’s the same hollow message plastered everywhere. What’s next? They paint the ceilings orange?
Who's not worried
I feel like things are still generally ok on the core teams here at TD. The important people are still here and the wlb is still great, who else feels the same?
Our stock is staying steady today!
Finally, a weekday that we're not going down!! Congrats! Our stock looks pretty steady today!
I'm deciding to believe layoffs are over
Thinking about layoffs 24/7 is no way to live. Especially since I can change nothing. So I'm going to act as if layoffs are done, and save myself some stressing.
Genuinely happy here, anyone else?
I know this place gets a lot of hate, but I actually like my job. Decent pay, interesting work, great coworkers. Yeah, the layoff stress su-ks, but my experience here has been better than anywhere else I've worked. Can't be the only one, right?
Job market is not that bad
I know people are panicking right about now, but I've been preparing for this for a few months and submitting applications. I got 3-4 interviews per month and I got two offers in that time. Granted, the pay wasn't high enough to get me to say yes, but if I was jobless at the time, it would have been an easy yes. So there are jobs out there, just be persistent.
Layoffs can bring new opportunities
Layoff sometimes gets you out of bad environment what doesn’t work for you or the employer for various reasons. Regardless whether layoffs will transform Walgreens or not depends on who they keep and who they layoff. Some time it may seem like easiest thing for the decision maker to do is ask the management but what if poor management is what is hindering the company from making progress. Anyway, the best thing to do right now is wait for the changes. Recheck if you see light at the end of the tunnel after they make changes if you are still there. If you don’t like the changes and you did not get picked for layoff with severance package you hoped for then you should look for new job so you can make your life better. With that, the ball is in their court to take proper steps including re-organization, office that works for all, right person in right role etc.
Staying positive and hoping for the best is all you can do. Hope you all have a great weekend now. Don’t pay attention to all the chats and catch a great movie tonight or watch the Superball. But come back brave tomorrow.
New Crown Castle 2.0
Like the saying goes it is better to be optimistic and wrong than pessimistic and right.
This is my hope. After the storm passes and we sell Fiber and Small Cell we have the money to hire many of these talented, loyal, and hard workers back. It was obvious the layoffs weren't well thought out. It was just a scramble to meet the numbers.
Maybe I am naive in thinking that is possible, but hopefully Crown wins and pull this off. Hate to see this company destroyed by all the bad decisions they made. I remember the glory years when it was just a tower company. The get togethers at the finest resorts, and it really felt like family.
Can Dan keep it going?
The market is responding positively. Good earnings, leadership shakeups and renewed confidence from analysts. Sure the company will look nothing like it has, and more people will lose their job but I am cautiously optimistic he is going to plow through the BS and make positive headway.
Nice Pop!
Congrats to everyone. Good earnings keeps the Grimm Reaper away.
Back in the 100B club
Our company is back in the 100B market cap club with the other seven sisters.
Seems we have righted the course?

Stankey Rally Part Deux

Where do you see us in 12 months?
Try not to be all doom and gloom
I'm worried about what's ahead
Being let go didn't personally affect me at all. I've gotten used to losing jobs. It's happened several times over my career, and by now I don't see it as anything reflecting on me. But I've never been more worried about finding another job. It doesn't look good out there, and my husband's job is in peril too. I can't recall when things have felt this bad from every direction. Wish us luck and the optimism to keep us afloat.
All good no cuts only growth in 2026
Huge upsurge coming , massive growth opportunity ford will go strong in 26 under great leadership. Massive recruitment for mechanics coming soon. No more h1b after this
Positive Energy
Optimism has returned. Sanoke is a strong leader with conviction. It‘s like the last 10 years of leadership was just a bad dream.
I'm going to be optimistic this year
I'm going to believe that we'll be spared layoffs at least for the first quarter of the year. It's better than being convinced otherwise and stressing over it nonstop. They'll most likely prove me wrong, but you never know. A little positivity never ki-led anybody.
Being laid off from IBM might actually be a gift
Getting laid off from IBM ended up being a lot more freeing than I expected. At first it stung, but once the dust settled, I realized I’d been stuck in a place that was going nowhere. Constant reorganizations, shifting priorities, and leadership that never seemed to agree on a direction made every day feel unstable. It was exhausting trying to stay motivated when the ground kept moving under your feet.
Looking back, getting pushed out forced me to step back and see how unhealthy the situation really was. The stress, the uncertainty, and the endless talk with very little action had become normal, and that’s not a great place to be. I was able to focus on finding something more stable and rewarding, instead of clinging to a job that was slowly burning me out.
I wish us all a kinder next year
I know it’s probably not going to happen, but still. This year was exhausting, and I can only imagine what those who already lost their jobs are going through.
Accountability
After how many quarters of optimistic words and talking points with little to show for it, does it become clear that EH might not know what he’s doing?
And how does MF still have a job?
Actually really like NH
Every interaction I’ve ever had with NH has been good… I am actually optimistic with him stepping into the role. Seems like a win for Finance for to me.
This is so telling
It seems that hope for next year is scarce. Looking at the chatter around 2026, optimism seems nonexistent. Most people don't expect any improvements, on the contrary. No wonder morale has never been lower.
Dan gives Jack Palance vibes
I realize I'm showing my age with the title
Honestly I don't hate his attitude.
And there is no doubt that Hans' leadership was never going to get us back on track.
Maybe this doesn't work but something had to change.
What are everybody's thoughts on the turnaround?
Is it too soon to feel optimistic?
